The PIB’s Fact Check team said the claim was false. But, at the same time, the team urged the people not to spread confusion by sharing such messages in the time of Corona.
New Delhi: Rumors are spreading in India even faster than the rate at which corona virus infection is on the rise. The biggest obstacle in the war against Corona is the rumours, which people believe to be true and the war against Corona is weakening. In this sequence, an audio is rapidly going viral on social media, claiming that the reason for the current number of deaths in India is the testing of the 5G network and that it is being renamed Corona. The audio claims that 5G testing has not been made public and that it is causing sudden public outcry.
But when the viral video was investigated, the claim turned out to be false. The PIB’s fact check team has called the claim viral on social media. The PIB wrote in an audio message claiming that 5G network testing was being carried out in the states, causing deaths and naming it COVID.
The PIB’s Fact Check team said the claim was false. At the same time, the team urged the people not to spread confusion by sharing such messages in the time of Corona. In fact two people can be heard talking in this viral audio, one of whom is getting the name of 5G testing to the deaths from corona. He says in the audio that people’s throats are getting dry due to the testing and it is claimed that if the testing is done by May, death will stop.
But the fact is that the deaths from Corona and the testing of the 5G network have nothing to do with it. Nowhere in the world it has been a scientific claim that 5G testing is killing people. So everyone is requested not to forward such viral messages and avoid rumors and join the fight against Corona.
