Well the day has come when all the prestigious medical universities have combined for a single PG Entrance test

The prestigious institutions include All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) of Delhi, all other 7 AIIMS institutions of Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh JIPMER of Puducherry, PGIMER of Chandigarh and  NIMHANS of Bengaluru

Earlier all of these universities conducted separate entrance exams for PG, but as of  a notification dated September 29 from AIIMS exams’ website, PG admission to the above universities will be conducted by a single test  called INI – CET, It stands for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test

So as of now only 2 PG Entrance medical examinations are present, NEET PG and INICET

INICET will be a single entrance exam for January 2021 batch for medical PG

WHAT DOES INICET STAND FOR ?

INICET stands for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test

WHEN AND HOW TO REGISTER?

The “Basic Registration” starts on September 29th and this process should be done by October 12th, 2020

However earlier applicants whose application have been accepted for January 2019, July 2019, January 2020 and July 2020 exams do NOT have to complete the basic registration again, those applicants just need to generate the code and complete the final registration

WHEN WILL THE GENERATION RUC (Registration of Unique Code) and Final fee payment take place?

According to notification of the released by aiimsexams.org the time for generation of RUC ( Registration Unique Code), Final registration and Final fee payment ( examination fee) is from 6th October, 2020 to 26th October, 2020

WHEN WILL BE THE ADMIT CARD UPLOADED?

According to the notification, it will be released on Tuesday 10th November 2020

WHEN WILL BE THE INI CET HELD?

According to the notification put forward by aiimsexams.org the first INICET will be held on Friday, 20th November 2020 from 9:00 Am to 12:00 Pm

HOW AND WHERE WILL INICET EXAM BE CONDUCTED

As per usual norms, Exam will be online mode and exam centers will be present across various cities across India

As most of the students might know AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, PGIMER PG and NIMHANS PG have different number of questions, different syllabi and different weightage of subjects and other topis

Well as of today, no one knows about how many questions will be there or the type of exam pattern or specific syllabus but everything will be clear hopefully once they release the prospectus on October 6th, 2020

WHEN WILL PROSPECTUS OF INI CET RELEASED?

According to the notification, Prospectus of the new INICET exams will be released on October 6th, 2020 via aiimsexams.org This will give more information about the exam syllabus and topics

HOW TO STUDY FOR INI CET?

According to majority of faculty teaching PG entrance classes, it would be advisable to the student to study on Basic MBBS sciences and NOT focusing on question pattern or syllabi of AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER or NIMHANS

It would be wise to plan and concentrate the study after release of the prospectus of INICET on 6th October, 2020
